Ghost Kingdoms in the Wild
A Collection of Ghost Kingdom Stories & Resources
I love Betty Jean Lifton’s concept of the Ghost Kingdom because it illuminates the deeply complex psychological spaces those in the adoption constellation create for themselves in the wake of incredibly complicated family situations. I strongly believe that the more we understand about the inner fantasies of those in the adoption constellation, the more we can understand the complexities of both adoption and the lives of those it affects. And the more we understand, the better we can plan for change.
The goal of this ongoing project is to collect resources and stories within the adoption discourse community that engage with the Ghost Kingdom.
